Gratuity: A customary gratuity of 15% for captain and crew services is appreciated but not mandatory and is not included in any quoted fee. Gratuity is paid directly to captain and crew by the Charterer at their discretion.

ONE & ONLY operates under a USCG-compliant bareboat (demise) charter model. Here's what that means for you.

Bareboat (Demise) Charter
This experience is offered as a bareboat (demise) charter. You are not purchasing a crewed service — you are chartering the vessel itself.

Charterer in Full Command
The primary Charterer assumes full possession, command, and control of the vessel for the entire duration of the charter period.

You Engage Your Captain & Crew
The Charterer is responsible for selecting and engaging a qualified, USCG-licensed captain and any crew. Captain and crew are independent third parties — not employees of One & Only.

One & Only's Role
One & Only Yacht Charters acts solely as vessel owner and administrative coordinator. We do not employ, assign, or control any captain or crew.

Captain Referral List
For your convenience, One & Only may provide a courtesy list of USCG-licensed captains vetted by the vessel owner and insurer. Use of this list is optional.

Payment Facilitation
For convenience, One & Only may facilitate payment of captain and crew fees on behalf of the Charterer. All such services remain those of independent third parties engaged by the Charterer.
USCG Compliance Notice

ONE & ONLY is a private vessel available on a USCG-compliant bareboat (demise) charter basis. One & Only Yacht Charters LLC does not provide captain or crew services and does not hold a USCG Uninspected Passenger Vessel (UPV) operator license in connection with this vessel. The Charterer assumes full responsibility for selecting a qualified USCG-licensed operator. This is not a for-hire crewed charter.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund of vessel charter fees. No questions asked.
Late Cancellation
Within 5 Days of Charter
Vessel charter fees are non-refundable. We strongly recommend booking with adequate lead time.
Weather
Captain Makes the Call
Your independently selected captain makes the final safety determination the morning of the charter. Light rain or overcast conditions alone do not constitute a cancellation. If the captain declares conditions unsafe: parties will first attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund of vessel charter fees is issued.
